This is 8cm higher than the maximum height for show jumping in H/T or C/T. The finishing heights can be up to 23cm higher than the starting height. e.g/ in a D grade jump-off event the jumps can be raised to a maximum of 0.93m.

FEI - Federation Equestre Internationale www.horsesport.org/ (The highest level of international competition) World Cup Show Jumping This competition is in two round, the first is not against the clock and the second is. - speed is 350 meters per minute. - height from 1.4m to 1.6m, spread no more than 2 m. - water jump must not be wider than 4m indoor and 4.5 meters outdoors.

- 10 minute box - After Phase C before Phase D - vet check, trot out, temperature, heart and respiratory rate - - Horses that are not fit enough, or appear lame, or other reasons, will be 'vetted out' and elimanated - - This is to prevent injurys on the Cross country cource, and to stop owners competing on unfit horses - Phase D - Cross country
CIC Eventing (1 Day Eventing)
Olympic Jumping FIRST COMPETITION -(teams and individuals) - - All competitors qualified start in the first competition. - there are 12-14 jumps, including one double and one treble (or three doubles) - Total distance of 500-600 meters, ridden at 400 m/m (which is about 25km/h) - Height for jumps is 1.5meters maximum - spreads not exceeding 2 meters, 2.2m for the triple bar, - 4 meters for the water jump including the take off element. SECOND COMPETITION -(team final and individual second)- Only the 10 best teams from the first competition go into the second. - there are 12-14 jumps, including one double and one treble (or three doubles) - Total distance of 500-700 meters, ridden at 400 m/m (which is about 25km/h) - Height is 1.6meters maximum and there must me 2 vertical jumps of this height. - Also 6 other jumps of at least 1.4meters in height. - spreads not exceeding 2 meters, 2.2m for the triple bar, - 4 meters for the water jump (not including the take off element, total 4.50 m) THIRD COMPETITION -(Individual final)- The 25 best individuals go to the third competition. There are 2 Rounds. Round A - there are 10-12 jumps, including one double and one treble (or three doubles) - Height is 1.6meters maximum and there must me 2 vertical jumps of this height. - spreads not exceeding 2 meters, 2.2m for the triple bar, - 4 meters for the water jump (not including the take off element, total 4.50 m) - Total distance of 500-600 meters, ridden at 400 m/m Round B - there are 8-10 jumps, including one double and one treble. - Height is 1.6meters maximum and there must me 2 vertical jumps of this height. - spreads not exceeding 2 meters, 2.2m for the triple bar, - A water jump must not be included. But a Liverpool jump can be. - Total distance of 400-500 meters, ridden at 400 m/m
Riding Speeds are in Meters Per Minute (mpm) - this diagram compares that to Kilometers Per Hour (km / h) as well as showing what gait your horse will be in, this depends greatly on the size and movement of your horse.
